Africa’s market of 1.2 billion people holds huge promise
Africa’s 1.2 billion people hold plenty of promise. They are young: south of the Sahara, their median age is below 25 everywhere except in South Africa. They are better educated than ever before and they are richer, according to the World Bank. Some of the gains may seem modest, but they are sufficiently established to prove lasting. We now actually see the Africa of business magazines and bank ads: a continent that is rising at a prodigious pace and creating profitable new markets for multinational firms (The Economist special report).

Africa is projected to be the world’s second-fastest growing economy by 2020. With growth comes a need for leaders who can address and navigate challenges and opportunities. Coursera Open Education
We use the Coursera platform to offer our education. Coursera was founded in 2012 by two Stanford Computer Science professors who wanted to share their knowledge and skills with the world. Every course on Coursera is taught by top instructors from the world’s best universities and educational institutions. Courses include recorded video lectures, auto-graded and peer-reviewed assignments, and community discussion forums. When you complete a course, you’ll receive a sharable electronic Course Certificate. If you have received the required certificates, you will obtain the accredited UC degree.
